COOK BASE COAT ADHESIVE is a blend of Portland cement, graded aggregates, special polymers and water retention chemicals. BASE COAT ADHESIVE is used to bond to expanded polystyrene insulation board as well as properly prepared concrete block, poured concrete and cement board. BASE COAT ADHESIVE may also be used to adhere foam to masonry surfaces. Use Base Coat to embed woven reinforcing fabric to the face of the EPS board at a minimum of 1/8” thick as a substrate for synthetic finishes
